You can expect a hard-working, fun bunch of volunteers who are excited to provide topnotch food and beverage service to VIP attendees and WE Fest staff.
Here's a few things to keep in mind: • Everyone must CHECK-IN prior to your shift to get credentials, parking pass, shirt, etc. - see below for options: -Monday (July 29) 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Boys & Girls Club (150 Richwood Road) -Tuesday (July 30) 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Boys & Girls Club (150 Richwood Road) -Wednesday (July 31) 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM at WE Fest (drive up toward the red barn and look for Club tent) -By individual appointment the other days/times • At the beginning of your shift(s), everyone must enter in the VIP East Entrance Gate *except employee dining - they report to red barn
• Anyone serving alcohol will receive off premises alcohol server training information at check-in
• Wear comfortable close-toed shoes!
• Remember, there is very little space to place personal items - We are not responsible for lost or stolen items • Consumption of alcohol while completing volunteer duties is strictly prohibited • Hanging out inside the VIP tent area before or after volunteer shifts is not permitted (unless you have purchased VIP access passes) • If you have ADA or limited mobility issues, please contact Lisa directly regarding parking/transportation
• As soon as volunteer shifts are complete, all volunteers must change out of clothing/bandana that bears the BOYS & GIRLS CLUB brand
• Allow yourself extra time to drive and park prior to your shift as the festival is VERY BUSY - we are optimistic that the traffic concerns from last year have been addressed
• All volunteers must check in and out of their shifts with a SHIFT CAPTAIN who will be in a YELLOW or PINK t-shirt • The Boys & Girls Clubs of Detroit Lakes cares deeply for its mission and reputation, and volunteers should conduct themselves in a manner that represents the Clubs in a positive and professional way
• We appreciate your flexibility with exact jobs as things change based on what different needs pop up each day
• If you're volunteering with a business, feel free to wear your business shirts and you will receive different club identification
Failure to abide by the above will result in the deactivation of your festival wristband, therefore not allowing access to the concert grounds.
